Good evening! We thought you may be interested in knowing about two locals who are Centre Wellington district high school graduates, who are now officially certified goldsmiths! Angi graduated CWDHS in 2008 and Celeste Graduated CWDHS in 2011, we both graduated (Celeste with honours) the Jewellery and Metals program in 2014, and we have both graduated the Goldsmithing and Silversmithing post-grad program each with honours in 2015. Both programs at Georgian College. Our grand opening of our Goldsmithing Graduate Exhbition happens this Saturday 730-9 at the Georgian College in h121. it will be traveling around Ontario until December 2015. We have both won multiple awards for our jewellery. Celeste won the Swiss Army Award for Excellence (2013), the Melanie Ollikainen Memorial Award (2013), the Edward and Lorne Abrams Award (2013) and the Crossworks Manufacturing award of excellence (2013)
Angi has opened her business, Eclectaccessories, and has won the Crosswork Manufacturing Travel Bursary (2013), the Women Owners Network Award (2015) as well as being a finalist in the Bell Canada Student in Excellence Barrie Business Award (2014).
