Sherry Kirton-Gray and Patricia Kirton of Fergus won $100,000 with Encore in the Nov. 10 Lotto 6/49 draw. “It’s wonderful – I am still shocked,” said Kirton-Gray while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up the prize. The mother and daughter duo play Lotto 6/49 and Lotto Max together each week. Kirton-Gray, 54, was at a local variety store when she discovered she had a winning ticket. She drove to her mother’s house right away to share the exciting news. Kirton, 78, and Kirton-Gray are both retired. They plan to share their winnings with their family over the holidays. “This win will come in handy for Christmas,” added Kirkton. The winning ticket was purchased at Quick Pick Variety on Tower Street in Fergus. Submitted photo
