Elora Fergus Studio Tour taking place last two weekends in September

This year’s Elora Fergus Studio Tour has a roster of 40 artists working in a wide variety of media.

The free, self-guided tour in the Township of Centre Wellington, brings together artists and art lovers over the last two weekends in September.

Like the area itself, the tour has a unique mix of painters working in watercolours, acrylic and oil;  hot glass artists as well as stained glass and warm glass artists;  encaustic artists; jewellers; mixed-media artists; a photographer; and artists working in fibre,  ceramics, sculpture and wood.

The Elora Centre for the Arts is a point to start the tour as the exhibition in the gallery gives visitors a chance to view one piece from each participant.

New on the tour this year are Robert Wehkamp (wood, steel and paint), Melanie Schaffer (stained glass), Anne Pichette (mixed media), Sarah Hart (watercolour) and painter Andrea Howson.
