The annual Headwaters Arts’ Juried Art Show and Sale is scheduled for Sept. 19 to Oct. 8 with a special opening night preview Sept. 20.
The show will take place at the Alton Mill Arts Centre in Caledon.
Jurors, including, Regan Hayward, director and curator at Beaux Arts Brampton; Sue Powell, artist and artrepreneur; and Jill Price, multi-disciplinary artist, curator at The Quest Gallery – Midland and Educator – Georgian College, OCADU and MacLaren Art Centre along with this year’s curator Alex. Richardson, artist and educator at Nipissing University have chosen 74 works from 55 artists from across Ontario for this two week show.
During the opening night preview, visitors will have the chance to be one off the first to view and purchase these works while meeting the artists.
Enjoy hors d’oevres from Lavender Blue Catering while listening to live music. Tickets are $25 and there is a cash bar.
The Show and Sale along with the Big Blues Party II and a Monday Night at the Movies presentation are part of the mill’s annual fundraising effort.
