Beatles tribute making debut at Fergus Grand Theatre

A Beatles tribute is coming to the Fergus Grand Theatre.

In 1967, The Beatles made the studio their stage with songs like Strawberry Fields Forever and Penny Lane.

Their recordings had become so sophisticated, they couldn’t tour without bringing a small orchestra.

The Liverpool Sessions pick up where the Beatles’ touring schedule left off, recreating the Fab Four’s masterpieces and favourites.

A 10 piece Lonely Hearts Club Band featuring horns, strings, vocals, and at it’s heart, Jeff Scott’s Ultimate 60’s band, The Buddy Ray Vons.

The ensemble is making its debut at the Fergus Grand Theatre on Nov. 3.

This year’s show features a 50th anniversary celebration, Beatles ‘68 marking the historic release of the self titled White Album and the hit Hey Jude.

Other sings included in the show are Back In The USSR, Ob La Di, Ob La Da, Birthday, Sgt Pepper, Eleanor Rigby and the stories behind the songs.

Tickets are available at the Fergus Grand Theatre  box office, by calling 519-787-1981 or visiting fergusgrandtheatre.ca.
