Dean Brody showcases his depth as a songwriter and unparalleled ability to bring storytelling to the forefront of country music with his compelling intimate acoustic tour.
Hitting the road and travelling from coast to coast, Brody brings his Dirt Road Stories Acoustic Tour to River Run Centre Nov. 10 at 8pm.
While Brody is now firmly cemented as an arena-touring act, performing at the country’s most iconic venues, many of Brody’s songs were in fact written at his kitchen table.
This acoustic tour is meant to replicate that setting that inspires his original works.
“I want to give my fans a window into how my songs were written, how they sound in their rawest form, performed in an intimate theatre setting,” he said.
His most recent album, Beautiful Freakshow, continues to keep listeners on the edge of their seats. Just as the title of the album suggests, the new record is a mashup of Brody’s range of musical preferences, with contributions from hip-hop artist Shevy Price, rocker Alan Doyle, indie musician Sarah Blackwood, and hints of pop-meets-country sprinkled throughout his latest tracks.
Brody’s Dirt Road Stories Acoustic Tour also features supporting artist Andrew Hyatt, an up and coming Canadian country musician.
