Pipes, Plaid and Pageantry Parade – Same tradition, different route

The annual “Pipes, Plaid and Pageantry” Parade kicks off an amazing weekend of Scottish entertainment, music, and dancing in downtown Fergus.

Join the crowd Thursday evening (Aug. 9), in downtown Fergus to watch parade starting at 7:30pm. It’s a great way to kick off the festival weekend.

Due to the closure of the St David Street  bridge, the parade route has changed.

This year, the parade starts at the Fergus Curling Club, 148 St George Street West, then goes west along St George Street,  turns left and heads south along Tower Street,  then turns right and goes West along St Andrew Street W, ending at the Fergus Legion.
