Huron-Kinloss Ice Cream Trail open for summer

The Huron-Kinloss Ice Cream Trail is back for its eighth year with lots of great prizes up for grabs.

The Ice Cream Trail is a fun-filled photo scavenger hunt for the whole family, taking participants to ice cream stops past beaches, unique shops, golf courses, parks, trails, splash pads and a pool. This year the theme of the trail is “It’s Reunion Time.”

Players can follow a map to nine ice cream stops and read clues to find Sammy Sprinkles. Take a picture with him at each location and submit them with a completed entry form to the Township of Huron-Kinloss. You will receive a free t-shirt and a chance to win our grand prize of 250 Huron-Kinloss dollars. New this year, you only need to visit four stops to receive a prize.

Special prizes will also be awarded for the most creative and largest group photos and for using the hashtag #IceCreamTrail.

Free ice cream will be given out at the Lucknow Tourism Office on Aug. 11 from 10am until 2pm.

The contest runs until Sept. 30 and entries must be received by Oct. 8 to qualify for the grand prize.
