The Grey Wellington Theatre Guild is gearing up to bring some Christmas magic to the local stage.
The Harriston-based guild is holding an open casting for its fall 2018 musical production of the yuletide classic Miracle on 34th Street, The Play.
Casting will be held July 25 at 7pm at the Harriston Town Hall Theatre, 68 Elora Street South, Harriston. The show will be staged between Nov. 16 and Dec. 1.
Director Peggy Raftis says there will be parts for adults, children and teens and the play, although not a musical, will include some vocal accompaniment and dance numbers.
Everyone is welcome to audition and should be prepared to read for a part.
