On June 20 at about 11pm, Wellington County OPP officers were conducting a RIDE program on Gore Road near Cambridge.
Police say that while officers were speaking to the driver of a grey SUV, the vehicle fled, “narrowly missing officers.” With the assistance of Waterloo Regional Police the male and vehicle were located in Cambridge.
Ronald Rodrick Vincent Dark, 26, of Cambridge, was charged with driving while disqualified, careless driving and failing to stop for police. He is to appear in Guelph court on July 24.
