Truck rolls over, strikes hydro lines

On June 27 at about 11:30am, emergency crews responded to a single-vehicle rollover on 7th Line near Belwood.

Police say a tractor trailer loaded with livestock feed rolled and was leaning against hydro lines.

The OPP, Centre Wellington firefighters and Dufferin County paramedics attended the scene.

“A 60-year-old Stratford man was uninjured but left waiting in the cab for hydro services to attend and shut down power,” police stated.

The road was closed for several hours and police say charges may be pending.
