Twelve members of the Superstars Baton Club competed in Orangeville at the annual CNBTA provincial championships, June 2 to 3.
Approximately 75 athletes gathered to compete for the provincial cups and Miss Majorette of Ontario Pageant.
Mackenzie Fraser received two firsts and was the 2018 beginner provincial solo champion, intermediate provincial 2baton champion and the preteen beginner Miss Majorette of Ontario.
Alyssa George received two second, a third and fourth place.
Jamie Green received a first, two third and a fifth place.
Alexis Herriot received two second and a third place.
Hayleigh Homer received a second, a third, a fourth and two fifth place and is the 2018 beginner provincial 3baton champion.
Lyla Mae Kuntz received a second place and was the 2018 intermediate solo champion and the juvenile intermediate Miss Majorette of Ontario.
Shayla Logel received a first, a second, a third and a sixth place and was the 2018 junior beginner Miss Majorette of Ontario.
Chelsea McFadden received a second and two ninth place finishes.
Elsie Post received a third place and was the 2018 advance provincial solo champion, strut, 2baton and rhythmic twirl champion and the preteen Miss Majorette of Ontario.
Jayda Saunders received a first and two second place and was the 2018 novice provincial solo champion and the juvenile novice Miss Majorette of Ontario.
Lainey Saunders received a first, a third place and was the 2018 novice preteen Miss Majorette of Ontario.
Makenzie Worton received a first, a second, two thirds and a sixth place.
Duet team of George and Worton placed second in advance duet and Green and Saunders are the 2018 novice provincial duet champions.
The team “5678” return home the 2018 novice preteen provincial dance twirl team champions. The team “He Lives” placed second. The trio “Sweet Dreams” placed second.
The girls will be training for the CNBTA national championships the beginning of July in Peterborough.
