Spring cleaning is one of those happy chores that brings a ray of sunshine and a warming breeze into your home after such a lengthy winter. There is an eagerness to shed the layers as thoughts focus on transforming your wardrobe, home, and yard.
The volunteers with Clifford Community Meals on Wheels hope you think of them as you sift and sort. They are hosting their annual community yard sale starting at 7am on June 2 at the John Hobelman Memorial Rotary Park at the foot of Allan Street East in Clifford.
Frank and Sheila Dickinson and Eleanore and Wes Gerber and their team are arranging the sale and are in need of donations to fill the tables. They will be accepting toys, books, novelty items, dishes, seasonal items, Sports equipment, crafts, and those one of a kind treasures that shoppers and browsers are looking forward to discovering.
Organizers ask that donations be dropped off on June 1 between 7am and 8pm at the park. Call Frank and Sheila at 519-327-3719 if you are unsure about an item being accepted or for help getting goods to the sale.
Members of Knox United Church will have refreshments for sale and a fully stocked bake table with cookies, pies, muffins, tarts, and chicken pot pies.
Under the shelter of the pavillion, this annual yard sale will carry on rain or shine.
