The Ariss and Maryhill Lions Clubs are holding a Spring Clean-up Charity Auction on June 16 at 10am.
The event is being held at Kurtz Auctions Inc. (formerly Brubacher Sales Arena) at 5461 Wellington Road 86, 1km north of the Guelph Auto Mall. Lion Brian Kurtz will be auctioneer.
The club is looking for any re-usable items in reasonable condition; however they ask for no clothing or personal items.
Donors can drop off their items after June 1 at Kurtz Auctions Inc. Call Brian Kurtz at 519-836-0342 or Bob Halliburton at 519-835-7328 or e-mail brian@kurtzauctionsinc.com to arrange a time. A preview of sale items will take place on June 15 from 1 to 4pm or sale day at 9am. Cash or debit will be accepted and a food booth available.
All sale proceeds will go to the Lions Foundation of Canada Dog Guide programs and community needs.
