On April 30 at about 8am, a Wellington County OPP officer responded to a report of a motor vehicle collision on Highway 7 at Wellington Road 32 here.
Police while speaking to a lone male in the seat of one of the involved vehicles officers detected “a very strong fresh odor of marijuana” coming from the vehicle.
Tyrek Farquharson, 18, of Kitchener, was charged with failing to comply with an undertaking and possession of marijuana over 30g. He is to appear in Guelph court on May 29.
