Numerous break-ins throughout Wellington County

Break-in at gas station

FERGUS – On April 22 at about 9am, the Wellington County OPP was dispatched to a break-in at the Shell gas station on Scotland Street here.

Police say that sometime overnight someone entered the building “through an exterior wall” and stole “a quantity of cigarettes.”

Break-in

CENTRE WELLINGTON – On April 17 at about 3am someone broke into a facility on 4th Line here and stole cash, electronics, alcohol and tools, police say.

Another break-in

GUELPH-ERAMOSA – On April 17 Wellington County OPP officers were dispatched to a break-in at a house on Indian Trail here.

Police say someone entered the home through a rear patio door, ransacked the house and stole cash, jewelry, tools and DVDs.

GUELPH-ERAMOSA – On April 22 Wellington OPP was dispatched to a break-in at a residence on Wellington Road 86 here.

Police say someone broke into the garage sometime overnight on April 21 and stole about $300 worth of tools and equipment.
