PUSLINCH – Wellington County OPP officials say that at about 12pm on April 11 someone pried open a rear door at a house on Watson Road South, just south of the 401 in Puslinch, and stole two laptops, a gaming system and accessories.

The suspects were interrupted and fled in a black Cadillac Escalade or “similar-type vehicle,” police say, adding they are investigating links between this crime and others.

Both vehicles had the keys left in them.

At other homes the items stolen include: $500 worth of clothing (from an unlocked vehicle), a number of tools from a barn, two bicycles from an unlocked shed and  cash from an unlocked vehicle.

Three residences were targeted on Carter Road. Stolen items include: a bicycle from an unlocked garage, a PW70 Yamaha mini-dirt bike from a barn, and an iPad and numerous keys from unlocked vehicles.

Stolen from two Arkell Road residences were: personal documents, cash and house keys from an unlocked vehicle.

GUELPH-ERAMOSA – On April 11 at about 6:10am police responded to a report of a theft of a pickup truck from Wellington Road 86.

A black Chevrolet pickup, (AK 15206), stolen from Puslinch on April 9, was recovered at the scene.

At about 8:25am police were called about another stolen pickup truck, at an address on Wellington Road 51. Police say the white 2016 Dodge ram pickup (licence plate AN 32956) was stolen between April 10 at 11pm and April 11 at 7am.
