A local woman faces several charges after police say someone broke into a business and confronted an employee with an “imitation weapon.”
On April 11 at about 5pm Wellington County OPP responded to the call at a business on Wellington Road 124 near Wellington Road 32, southwest of Guelph.
Police say a woman broke into the business, confronted an employee and was possibly armed. She was located nearby.
Kayla Marie York, 30, of Guelph-Eramosa, was charged with break and enter, intimidation, carrying a concealed weapon and possession of an imitation weapon for a dangerous purpose. She is to appear in Guelph court on May 15.
