Food For Thought lecture series visits U.S. national parks

Mimosa Church is holding its 11th season of the Food For Thought lecture series.

The little stone church on the hill, 5980 Wellington Road 26, is an active and vibrant hub, which hosts lectures, dinners, adult art classes and many types of 4-H club programming for local youth.

While many little churches are struggling to keep doors open for Sunday services, Mimosa Church is busy working to provide a safe place in the community for all ages to socialize and learn, stats organizers.

Proceeds help keep the programs going and provide outreach. Dinner is a free will offering to the church’s work while lectures are free. Dinner is limited to 50 persons. To book dinner call June Switzer at 519-855-4201 or email jswitzer@sentex.net by the Saturday before each date to ensure adequate food for all. Dinner at 6:30pm. Lectures at 7:30 to 8:45pm.
