Councillor Fred Morris said he believes Centre Wellington should be looking at the demographics of growth in the township.
He made the comments briefly on March 26 following his praise of the recent active living show at the Centre Wellington Sportsplex.
“One thing suggested to me was a request if the township could in any way identify the demographics of the community in terms of our growth. Who is coming here to live?” Morris asked. “There is a sense that there will be a lot of seniors coming to Centre Wellington in the next 10 years. If that is the case, then it will have an impact on the Victoria Park Seniors Centre and how to address that impact.”
