The Grand Slam Dueling Pianos will be playing live at the Centre Wellington Community Sportsplex on April 7.
The band will be performing cover songs like Benny and the Jets, Tiny Dancer (Elton John), Don’t Stop Believing (Journey), Margaritaville (Jimmy Buffet), Friends in Low Places (Garth Brooks) and more.
Tickets are $25 and the event is for adults only. There will be a late night buffet catered by The Goofie Newfie and non-alcoholic drinks included in the ticket price.
There will be a licensed cash bar and silent auction table with items such as Mosaic Spa gift card, Yard Weasels mulch and delivery, Jessica Michelle Family Photography Session, Grape House gift card, the Barber Shop gift card and products, baked goodies and more.
This is a parent-run event and all proceeds from the evening will be donated to John Black Public School’s playground fundraiser.
With fundraising efforts to date at the school a primary playground (Kindergarten to Grade 3) was installed in June 2017.
This year plans include purchasing and installing a junior climber (Grade 4 to 6) as well as installing intermediate (Grade 7 to 8) benches.
The show will open at 7:30pm and music starts at 8:30pm. Tickets are $25 and are available at Belwood Country Store, Jesters Fun Factory, Brodericks, Fraberts Fresh Foods and The Goofie Newfie.
