Come celebrate World Theatre Day at the Fergus Grand Theatre on March 27 from 7pm to 8pm.
Volunteers will be on-hand to offer fun workshops on improvisation, acting workshops and some fun choreography suitable for the whole family.
Students from Centre Wellington District High School’s Drama Department will lead a choreography session, a fun and energetic way to get yourself warmed up and ready to show your creative side. There will be small one-act plays to participate in or just enjoy, a great chance to show off your script skills. Plus, you can take part in fun drama games to demonstrate your Broadway potential. Admission is free.
World Theatre Day is a celebration of all things theatre in a small community. The arts can bring people together that may have not known each other before in a creative, welcoming space. Theatre is a large community and it is very important that its role in Fergus is recognized, and what better way to do that than to open the doors of the newly renovated Fergus Grand Theatre and enjoy some theatre?
Doors open at 7pm. The Fergus Grand Theatre is located at 244 St Andrew St W in Fergus. For more information call 519-787-1981.
