Canadian Bible Society to hold meeting in Alma

Members of the Centre Wellington branch of the Canadian Bible Society are busy planning their annual dinner, set for March 24, at the Alma Bible Church.

The evening is set to commence at 6:30pm, with a roast beef dinner served by the catering group at Alma Bible Church.

Tickets for the dinner are $20, (advance only) and are  available from John at 519-820-7964.

Following the dinner, there will be a time of fellowship, praise and worship, free of charge.

Highlight of the evening will be a message from Prakash Masih, senior pastor of Navjeewan Community Church in Mississauga. His theme is “Rags to Rubies: the lost identity of women restored through the Word of God in India.”

The praise team from his church will also take part in the program.

This is an opportunity for people in Centre Wellington to learn more about the difficulties faced by India’s women.
