The Grey Bruce Singers (GBS) have announced that Grey Bruce Singers director Dianne Leith and accompanist Chris Patterson are retiring after 38 years of leadership.
The retirement will take effect following the Spring Concert Series from April 12 to 15 at the Hanover Civic Theatre.
“We would like to take this opportunity to express our heartfelt gratitude and appreciation for their many years of superior vision, exceptional instruction and for spreading their love of music,” officials state.
“Our audiences, along with current and past members of GBS, are honoured to have been able to experience the astonishing talents of the illustrious team of ‘Dianne and Kit.’”
The Grey Bruce Singers will be actively seeking a new director and accompanist.
