On Jan. 21 at around 8pm, Wellington OPP responded to a report of fuel theft from a gas station on Main Street West in Palmerston. The white sedan involved was last seen travelling west towards Listowel.
Police say the vehicle was a stolen car from Brussels and, after examining video surveillance, identified the driver as a male known to police as wanted and a disqualified driver.
A warrant has been issued for the arrest of Anthony James (Tony) Dillon, 32, of Lucknow. He is facing the charges of theft under $5,000, possession of stolen property over $5,000, driving while disqualified and failing to comply with a probation order.
