Stolen car leads to drugs

Five people face methamphetamine and cocaine charges after a stolen  vehicle led police to a residence here.

On Jan. 2 Wellington County OPP recovered a stolen vehicle near Elora Street North in Clifford that was reported stolen from Arthur on Dec. 30.

“While speaking with occupants at a residence nearby, investigators discovered that one residence was connected to the stolen vehicle,” states an OPP press release.

“Police also became aware of quantities of methamphetamines and cocaine in the residence.”

Tyler James Geiger,  32, of Chesley, was charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of cocaine, failing to comply with a probation order and possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000, He is to appear in Guelph court on Feb. 9.

April Lindsay Tone, 38, of Ayton, was charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of cocaine, possession of marijuana under 30 grams and two counts of failing to comply with a probation order. She is to appear in Guelph court on Feb. 9.

David Dwight Pyke, 56, of Clifford, was charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of cocaine and possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000. He is to appear in Guelph on Feb. 9.

Nicholas Arthur Warner, 35, of Huron-Kinloss Township, was charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of cocaine. He is to appear in Guelph court on Feb. 9.

Brandon Robert Wayne Mitchell, 21, of Southgate Township, was charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of cocaine, failing to comply with a probation order, failing to comply with a recognizance, obstructing police and personation with intent to avoid arrest.
