Juno nominated vocalist, voice actor, broadcaster and educator Heather Bambrick will be in Elora on Dec. 9.
Bambrick will be taking part in Sensational Elora’s final jazz event of the fall 2017 season at Elora Centre for the Arts.
The Minarovich Gallery will be transformed into an intimate, licensed, jazz club for the evening.
Bambrick has collaborated with many jazz greats and has performed with various jazz ensembles and symphony orchestras.
She is a founding member of Broadsway, a jazz/cabaret ensemble with which she is currently recording and touring.
For her Elora performance, Bambrick will be accompanied drummer Rick Gratton, movie/tv music composer Paul Intson on bass, internationally recognized keyboard player Eric Boucher plus local musician Al Ralston on trumpet andflugelhorn.
“Sensational Elora is honoured to have Heather in Elora, particularly with such a talented group of musicians,” said Sensational Elora chair Kirk McElwain.
“She has a huge following with both her performing and broadcasting so we expect the tickets will go pretty quickly.”
Doors open at 7pm, show time is at 8pm.
Tickets are $20 in advance or $25 at the door.
They are on sale in Elora, at Shepherd’s Pub and Santé Natural Foods or online at www.sensationalelora.com/index.cfm?page=eventslanding.
