Ghouls, werewolves and a clown or two are prowling around a local farm getting ready to scare families on Oct. 28.
Ash and Thorn Farm at 7679 6th Line, Ennotville, is hosting its 2nd Annual Haunted Woods Walk in support of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Centre Wellington (BBBS).
Halloween is a time for fun and scares and a group of volunteers from the local community has come together again to make sure visitors get both.
The event runs from 6 to 10:30pm on Oct. 28 with tickets at $30 for a family of four. Visits between 6 and 7pm are designed with younger children in mind.
Last year the event raised almost $1,000 for the BBBS and volunteers were really happy with the great outcome and loved how much fun it was to frighten the attendees, organizers say.
The organizers are hoping to raise even more money the second year for this great community organization.
Tickets will be sold at the door starting at 6pm the day of the event.
Those looking to support the event through donations or to volunteer should contact organizers directly at 519-400-4599 or forkintheroad66@gmail.com.
