Police are looking to identify four male suspects wanted in connection with a violent home invasion earlier this week.
On Oct. 3 at about 11:30pm, Wellington County OPP officers were dispatched to a home invasion at a residence on Wellington Road 34 near Townline Road in Puslinch Township.
“Four males wearing disguises forced entry into the residence through a door, assaulted the two residents and attempted to restrain them,” police stated in a press release.
“The two residents were exposed to what is believed to be bear spray. The residents managed to escape and flee to neighbours, who called police.”
Police are investigating the incident and trying to identify the four male suspects.
Anyone who saw a vehicle parked on the side of the road near the home at the time of the crime is asked to call the OPP. To remain anonymous, call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) or submit a tip on-line at www.csgw.tips.
