This year marks the 100th anniversary of 4-H in Wellington County. To celebrate the occasion, the club is holding a celebratory dinner on Oct. 28 at the Arthur Community Centre.
Social begins at 6pm, dinner at 7pm. Everyone is welcome.
The dinner will be an opportunity for everyone to meet old friends, reminisce about their 4-H involvement and enjoy an evening of fellowship.
The evening’s speaker is Rob Black, past executive director for 4-H Ontario and past president of the Canadian 4-H Council Board of Directors.
Anyone with 4-H pictures or memorabilia that they are willing to share can bring it to add to the display for everyone’s enjoyment.
Tickets are $25 each and are available from any Wellington 4-H Association director or by calling Mary Fraser at 519-843-4498, Carl Baker at 519-787-0219 or by emailing info@wellington4-H.ca. Admission is through advance tickets only.
