Police are looking for clues after someone allegedly loosened the nuts on the tires of a vehicle here recently.
On Sept. 14, Wellington County OPP received a report of the mischief to a vehicle on Barker Street in Fergus.
The loosened tires were identified before anyone was injured, police say, adding the OPP is “actively seeking to identify if this is an isolated incident.”
Police are reminding the public that “a vehicle, in anything less than 100% operational condition, could result in a fatally hazardous situation” and are asking that everyone “routinely check” their vehicle to ensure no one has tampered with it.
