Youth safety focus of talks

The public is invited to learn about human trafficking, how to prevent children from becoming a victim, and what Crime Stoppers can do with help.

On Sept. 19, two presentations are planned at Victoria Cross Public School from 6:30 to 8:30pm.

The second presentation is on cyber safety – parenting in the digital world, self/peer exploitation, cyberbullying prevention, smartphone safety tips and talking to teens about relationships.

Open to everyone, the presentations are arranged by Victoria Cross Public School, Wellington North Youth Action Council, North 4 Youth, Crime Stoppers, OPP and Wellington North Safe Communities.
