The Arboretum is presenting an eight-evening series that will explore the principles of Ecopsychology and Eco Art Therapy.
Guest instructor Memona Hossain will lead the workshop Mondays and Thursdays, Sept. 11, 14, 18, 21, 25, 28, Oct. 2 and 5, from 6 to 7:30pm.
Walking through this program, participants will gradually gain a deeper sense of self-value, one’s relationship with nature, and a desire to engage with nature as a trusted and valued aspect of one’s own life.
Each week, participants will be introduced to new concepts which they will then apply to practical activities and then reflect both collectively and individually.
Participants will explore ways to gain a deeper understanding of how nature communicates, and what can be learned from this in their own lives.
The course will help participants integrate themselves with nature and the numerous life systems that intricately flow all around.
The early bird registration date is Sept. 3 and the fee is $190 plus HST.
After Sept. 3 the fee is $205 plus HST.
