Special Needs Soccer Festival on July 8

This year’s FEDS Special Needs Soccer Tournament was another success with perfect summer weather to celebrate Christmas in July, say officials.

The Fergus Pipe Band paraded all the players, coaches, helpers and referees into the festival

With 300 people in attendance, this year’s festival was the largest ever.

As the athletes played friendly soccer games, additional tents included activities such as a photo booth, Canada 150 tents, face painting and a balloon artist.

Live music was terrific by Zoe and the Great Escape

Santa Claus and Murphy the Tooth were a huge success as they visited the Festival.

There was food, drinks and activities all day.

The athletes were piped in by the Fergus Pipe Band.
