A Brampton woman has been charged after a conservation area attendant here had a personal cell phone stolen last weekend.
On June 11, Wellington County OPP officers were called to the Rockwood Conservation area for a reported theft of a cell phone from the guard house.
“An attendant had her $700 personal cell phone stolen by someone visiting the campground on the night of June 9,” police stated in a press release.
“Video surveillance captured the theft of the phone … as well as a licence plate (number)…”
Sashauna Wilkins, 22, of Brampton, was arrested and charged with theft under $5,000. She is to appear in Guelph court on July 21.
