Guelph Arts Council and University of Guelph School of Fine Art and Music are now accepting applications for the Young Artist Mentorship Project.
Through the project, young musicians and visual artists will work with established-artist mentors and community curators to develop the professional networks and business and management skills that they need to build careers as creative entrepreneurs. Established-artist mentors will benefit from specific training and develop new mentorship skills.
Guelph visual and media artists, musicians, and cultural managers are encouraged to apply as mentors or young artists by April 23.
Project and eligibility details are available at www.guelpharts.ca/calls-to-artists#artistmentors.
An information session for prospective mentors will be held April 19 from 5 to 6pm at Guelph Arts Council, 147 Wyndham St. N, Suite 404.
