On Feb. 1, Puslinch Mayor Dennis Lever invited the public to a meeting on the township’s new comprehensive zoning bylaw.
The Feb. 16 public information meeting is at the Puslinch Community Centre at 6pm, with a presentation at 6:30pm.
The Draft Zoning Bylaw Discussion Paper, now available online, summarizes key issues and identifies recommended changes to the existing township zoning bylaw.
Members of the public are invited to review and comment on the paper, which can be found at: www.puslinch.ca/en/doingbusiness/comprehensive-zoning-by-law-project.asp. A new interactive zoning map has been created to make it easier for residents to find out about the existing zoning on a property, officials say.
Once a new draft zoning bylaw is prepared, the map will also be updated with proposed zoning. To use the interactive mapping tool, visit www.puslinchforward.ca.
For more information about this project and/or to submit comments on the discussion paper, contact CAO Karen Landry at 519- 763-1226 ext. 214 or klandry@puslinch.ca.
