The Guelph Organic Conference and Trade Show returns to Guelph from Jan. 26 to 29.
The conference is held from Jan. 60 to 29 and the trade show takes place Jan. 28 from 9am to 5:30pm and 29 from 9am to 4:30pm.
On Jan. 26, look forward to a living the Green Dream panel discussion with wine and appetizers from 6 to 9pm.
On Jan. 27, 28 and 29, there are half day workshops on organic gardening, organic crop production and field crop rotations, soil health and switchgrass.
The Friday keynote from 7:30 to 9:30pm is “What is the Future of Genetic Engineering?”
Free Organic Trade Show and Tasting Fair will have over 150 exhibitors and over 35 vendors for sampling.
Exhibitors include trade suppliers, organizations and organic products.
The event attracts consumers, gardening enthusiasts, organic food growers, industry professionals, food brokers and retailers. Over 2,000 people are expected to attend.
The conference and trade show is located at the Guelph University Centre, 50 Stone Road East in Guelph.
Parking on Thursday and Friday is paid parking during the day and free parking after 4pm. Free parking is available Saturday and Sunday.
