It will be a “Big Night Out” with a big impact for local “Littles.”
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Centre Wellington is offering its second annual Big Night Out Gala Event.
The event will be held on Feb. 11 at Ariss Valley Golf and Country Club with executive chef Tim Halley.
A silent and live auction with auctioneer Steve Parr will take place and a grand prize draw will be available.
The night celebrates Bigs and Littles and the warmth that comes with friendships. MC Kelly Waterhouse, a past Big Sister herself, will take guests through a spectacular night.
“This event is a great way to show our love for the Bigs and Littles in our programs and let the community in on the greatness that is happening so quietly in our community,” said Kristen Drexler, executive director at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Centre Wellington.
“We know the impact that mentoring can have on the life of a child and we are excited to celebrate this with the community that has supported us through the years.”
Big Night Out will also tell the Big Brothers Big Sisters story.
Tickets are $80 per person before Feb. 1 and $100 per person after. A ticket includes a gourmet dinner, two bottles of wine per table of eight, entertainment and prizes.
