The OPP says foul play was not a factor in the death of a man whose body was found in the Elora Gorge on Friday.
A passerby discovered the body of a man, likely in his 30s, at about 2pm on Nov. 11 at the bottom of the gorge in an area known as “Lovers Leap.”
Wellington County OPP officers, Centre Wellington firefighters and Guelph-Wellington paramedics responded to the Victoria Park area, but officials say the man had been dead for at least several hours.
The coroner attended the scene and firefighters then removed the body from the gorge.
"Investigators have determined that foul play is not suspected and the person's identity will not be released," the OPP stated in a Nov. 12 press release.
