SOIL HEALTH WORKSHOP: THE ROLE OF MICROBES IN SOIL HEALTH
Join soil microbiologist Christine George as she introduces the microscopic community living in the soil and how that can influence the health of your crops. Using a combination of up-close videos, presentation and demonstration microscopes, learn more about nematodes, mites, fungi, bacteria, protozoa and the millions of creatures below the surface that contribute to soil health.
The Conservation Services team from Grand River Conservation Authority will be sponsoring the event through the Great Lakes Agricultural Stewardship Initiative’s Growing Forward funding. Farmers and CCA’s welcome (3 CEU credits).
