The Guelph Symphony Orchestra is holding its first concert of the season on Oct. 29.
The orchestra, under the direction of conductor Judith Yan, will present the Season Opening Gala – All Hallow’s Eve Ball.
The gala will feature symphonic masterpieces inspired by All Hallow’s Eve, including works by Mussorgsky, Berlioz, Prokofiev, Saint-Saens, and Poulenc.
This season-opener will include performances by Canadian piano duo Anagnoson and Kinton, and surprise guests from the Guelph Community.
Back by popular demand is the gala pre-concert dinner.
This event will be held in Co-operator’s Hall, and tickets are available via http://www.guelphsymphony.com/gso-gala-dinner/.
Immediately following the concert, there will be and after-party for the entire audience, featuring food, refreshments, and a silent auction.

Tickets for adults are $50; for 29 and under $23.00; for children 14 and under $10; and for high school students eyeGO are $5. All tickets are subject to HST.
