St. John’s Church has been actively supporting the Centre Wellington Refugee Network through fundraising activities over the past year.
It has successfully supported several families as they have transitioned into Centre Wellington.
On Oct. 27 at 6.30pm the church will hold a special evening service to present Evensong.
The service will feature the parish choir of St. John’s with music and readings specially selected for the service and the guest speaker will be the Rev. Greg Smith-Young, minister of Elora United Church, who have been active and were early leaders, in the refugee initiative in Centre Wellington.
Proceeds from a free will offering will go to refugee families.
This is an open invitation to all community members who want to support refugee families.
