Calling all Elvis fans. Don’t miss Gino Monopoli starring in Elvis: Love Me Tender coming live to the Fergus Grand Theatre for a special one night only performance on Oct. 21 at 8pm.
Backed by a live band featuring George Belmore on lead guitar, this theatrical presentation features 30 hit songs spanning the entire career of “The King.”
Local Elvis fans will be in for a real treat, as Monopoli is widely regarded as one of the top Elvis tribute artists on the circuit today, officials state.
The Fergus show will be divided into two parts, with the first portion of the show dedicated to Elvis’ early rock ‘n’ roll career and songs such as That’s All Right Mama, All Shook Up and Heartbreak Hotel. The second half of the show reaches into the latter portion of his career including such hits as Suspicious Minds and Are You Lonesome Tonight amongst the classics.
