For the second year in a row AAA Events is hosting a Canada Day festival in McMillan Park in Erin.
Taking place from 10am to 9pm, the festival will feature local artisans and vendors, a kids craft corner, free bouncy castle and a beer garden. There will be live entertainment all day, free games and activities and food concessions. Don’t miss the singing of O Canada and free cake at 1pm. Free Admission. Orton
A pavilion grand opening will make this year’s Canada Day Celebration in Orton a special one.
The 35th annual celebration takes place at St. John’s Community Church and features a chicken barbecue, kids’ bike rodeo and golf cart obstacle course. Speeches and opening ceremony will take place at 8pm and fireworks blast off at dusk. A quarter chicken (white or dark) is $13 or a half chicken is $15 (including fireworks admission).
