The Centre Wellington Refugee Network is welcoming the Rainbow Chorus from Waterloo as its latest fundraising event to support the successful integration of up to five families in Centre Wellington.
The Rainbow Chorus of Waterloo Wellington is a community chorus that welcomes members of all genders, sexualities and gender expressions and allies of the LGBTQ+ community.
They will be singing at Faith Lutheran Church on May 29 at 2pm.
“Welcoming refugees into Centre Wellington is a full community responsibility and we thought a fundraiser with such a talented and inclusive group was a fun and meaningful way to show what a welcoming community we have,” said lead volunteer Ingrid Kebbel-Beer in a press release.
Proceeds from the event will support local refugee integration efforts.
Tickets are available at rainbowchorus.ca or at the door on the day of the event.
