A man was sent to hospital with serious injuries after he was attacked with an axe this week.
On March 16 at about 10pm,Guelph Police were called to an altercation between two men who know each other at a house in the south end of Guelph.
Police say a 42-year-old man struck a 29-year-old man with an axe, "causing serious but, non- life threatening injuries."
The victim was transported to Guelph General Hospital.
The accused is charged with aggravated assault, assault with a weapon, and carrying a dangerous weapon. He was held for a bail hearing.
