Mark Burton, a well known bank businessman, retired in December. His days at the Fergus RBC as regional manager have come to an end as he is leaving Fergus to “retire” to Tulsa, Oklahoma.
“Of all the places I’ve lived, and I have lived in a few, Fergus is home; this has been a great place to live,” said Burton during a retirement party on Dec. 4 at Van Galis. Burton became involved with the Rotary Club and other organizations. He plans to drive 18 wheelers and may even get back to Fergus on a run.
