On Dec. 1, Fusion travelled to battle the Halton Hills Thunder.
Halton came flying out and by the end of the first period it was Halton 3 and Fusion 0. In the second period, Fusion responded back with six goals. Ty Needham (1G, 2A), Ryan Gemin (2G, 1A), Carter Hyndman (1G), Brandon Page (1A), Koen Ashdown (1A), Eric Feltham (1G), Brad Parkinson (1A), Daniel Newton (1G) and Connor MacMillan (1A). At the end of three periods, Fusion won 6-4.
On Dec. 3, Fusion headed to Caledon. The game stayed scoreless after one. In the second period, Fusion lit up the Caledon goalie scoring four times. At the end of the contest Fusion skated away with a 5-1 win. Fusion dominated their opponent outshooting them 35 – 12. Julian Austin got the win between the pipes. Points for Fusion came from Ryan Gemin (3G, 1A), Eric Feltham (1G), Carter Hyndman (1A), Levi Humber (1A), Brandon Page (2A), Ty Needham (1A) and Ethan Kosempel (1A).
On Dec. 10, Fusion hosted the Guelph Gryphons. Guelph opened the scoring with two goals in the first. Fusion finally found the back of the net in the second with a goal from Ryan Gemin, assisted by Ethan Kosempel.
Within a minute, Guelph scored again. Ryan Gemin answered back with another goal. With only 49 seconds left in the game, Ryan Gemin got the hat trick assisted by Brandon Page. The game ended in a tie with Jacob Killinger stopping 20 shots.
On Dec. 12, Fusion hosted Brampton. Fusion scored in the first with a goal from Brad Parkinson.
Brampton finally slipped the puck past net minder Julian Austin late in the third for a 1-1 tie. Shots on goal were 40 for Fusion and 17 for Brampton.
