The Workforce Planning Board of Waterloo Wellington Dufferin (WPB) is co-hosting a huge manufacturing job fair to be held at the Kitchener Auditorium from 2 to 6pm on Dec. 7 with the Waterloo Region Manufacturing Innovation Network.

Employers include Dare Foods Limited, Mitchell Plastics, Conestoga Meat Packers Ltd., Cambridge Towel Company Inc., PWO Canada Inc., TG Minto, Krug Inc., Tigercat Industries Inc., Linamar Corporation, Custom Leather Canada Ltd., Mafna Air Technologies, Heroux Devtek, Kodiak Boots, Precision Resource Canada Ltd., GE Water and Process Technologies, Kuntz Electroplating Inc. (KEI), Ball Service Group Inc., Boehmer Box, Nestlé Waters Canada, Tarkett Johnsonite and Canadian Solar Inc.
Operating as part of the Local Boards Network of Ontario, the Workforce Planning Board of Waterloo Wellington Dufferin is one of 25 local planning areas funded by the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities to conduct and distribute local labour market research and engage community stakeholders in a planning process that supports local solutions to local issues.
WPB’s mandate is to provide guidance regarding important workforce and employment challenges facing Waterloo, Wellington and Dufferin.
